8 Feng Shui Wealth Boosting Tips

9/23/2020

Feng shui wealth boosting tips
Feng shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy that deals with the arrangement of one's home or office to create an environment that is conducive to peace and harmony. This philosophy also includes wealth-boosting principles that are believed to bring good fortune and financial success. While there is no guarantee that feng shui will bring you wealth, it is an interesting and powerful way to create balance and abundance in your life. In this blog post, we'll explore 8 feng shui wealth boosting tips that you can use to create a space of abundance and prosperity.

Financial security, increased income, building wealth.  Everyone I’ve ever spoken to would like to have more money. If you're ready to boost your wealth, try these 8 feng shui tips to shift the energy in your space and help you attract what you want in life, including more money!
  1. Find the wealth corner of your home. In feng shui, we use something called a bagua.  The bagua is a map of your home.  The bagua has 9 areas, each representing a different area of your life.  When you place the bagua over the floor plan of your home, your wealth area is in the far left corner.
  2. Activate the wealth area.  The wealth area is ruled by the wood element.  Imagine a tree continuously growing, getting bigger and fuller.  Just like the tree, you want your money to continuously grow and your bank account to get bigger.  To activate the wood element, bring in fresh plants, images of trees or forests as well as colours and textures that represent wood.  Wood needs water to grow so also bring in some water and earth elements such as a water fountain and some stones.
  3. Create a space of luxury.  The idea behind activating your wealth area is to help you live a life of luxury, whatever luxury looks and feels like to you.  The wealth area of the bagua is represented by the colour purple but if purple isn't your thing, bring in rich jewel tones, luxury fabrics and hints of gold.
  4. What does wealth mean to you? You may want a luxury yacht that you can travel on year round or you might want a cute house and enough money in the bank to live comfortably.  Wealth means different things to different people so make your space feel personal to you and your wealth goals. Hang some art or bring in some items such as books that represent what you want to have in your life
  5. Balance out other areas of your home.  Wealth building doesn’t happen by accident.  Try activating other areas of your home, such as the career or helpful people areas to help boost the wealth.
  6. Turn on some lights.  To help activate the wealth area, turn on the lights in that room for at least an hour every day.  Light up the space to bring positive qi or energy to that area.  Dark rooms drain away positive qi so turn some lights on every day in that area.
  7. Stop your money from going down the drain.   In feng shui, bathrooms are very draining and can have a huge impact on your finances.  So, to literally keep your money from going down the drain, get in the habit of closing off the areas where money can drain away. Close your toilet lids, put the plugs in the sink drains when you’re not using them and keep the bathroom doors closed.
  8. Relax. Feng shui is a tool to help you achieve your life goals.  Along with some other tools that you can implement as you wish, such as  journaling, meditation, visualization, staying focused on your goals and putting in the work, feng shui is a tool to help shift the energy of a space so that you feel more aligned with your goals. Don't stress out over your finances.  Know that when you put in the work, the Universe will meet you right where you are!
