What makes your design approach unique?
It has been proven that our environment profoundly impacts our overall health and well-being. Living in northern Ontario, we are blessed to be surrounded by natural beauty, so our goal at Mindful Living Interiors is to bring the outside in, enhancing your living space with the natural elements that help you and your family thrive. Traditional Feng Shui, an ancient practice dating back over 4000 years, guides our design process. We work with the natural flow of energy, strategically positioning elements in your home to create a beautiful and balanced environment.
What is Feng Shui?
Feng shui is a practice that aligns your environment with who you are and where you want to go in life. You can harmonize your energy with your surroundings by carefully considering what you bring into your home and how you arrange and maintain your space. Even inanimate objects hold energy! Feng shui guides this energy (called chi), allowing it to flow freely throughout your home.
What is Biophilic Design?
Connection to the natural world is instrumental to our physical and mental health, fitness, and overall wellbeing. Biophilic design essentially brings the outside in to enhance air quality, airflow, circadian rhythm, heart rate and ordinary human health. Incorporating plants, environmental shapes and patterns, light, and materials indigenous to the area creates a vibrant and resilient space that deepens the connection between nature, enhancing the health and well-being of the people living and working in the space.
How do your designs enhance well-being?
We provide comprehensive interior design services, creating beautiful, functional, and harmonious spaces tailored to your needs. Our approach subtly incorporates the principles of Feng Shui to optimize energy flow and enhance the overall ambiance of your home, while our commitment to biophilic design brings the natural world indoors, using elements like natural light, plants, and sustainable materials to create a calm, yet rejuvenating environment.

Will my design be unique?
Every design we create is unique, tailored specifically to your needs and preferences. Because of this, we do not offer standard design packages. Costs and timelines are determined at the beginning of each project, ensuring that your design is as individual as you are.
